It was 5:45 pm and i got a call from my father stating that i have got passes of Pro- Kabbadi Match. He was very excited to see this match actually two matches scheduled on that day. I left my office bit early and called my family to get ready. After reaching home i just had a glass of water and left for the stadium.
After first match was over i started looking something to eat for me as well as for my family. I decided to reach at the entry where i have seen some snack vendors. As i was going out from the complex staff asked me:-
Staff - Where are you going?
Me - To get snacks for my family.
Staff - Come here, Need to put stamp on your hand! so that we can recognize you when you come back
Me - Snack vendor hardly 10 feet away. You can easily recognize me. But its okay do your job.
Went to snack vendor:
Me - How much does samosa cost ?
Vendor - Rs 20/- Each.
Me- Its costly. I can get this size of samosa in Rs 10/-
Vendor - Sorry sir. Rates are fixed.
Me - okay give me 4 samosa and also give me Kurkure packet - 2 each.
Vendor - Okay sir.
I handed him over Rs 100 note. He was asking me Rs 20 more. I thought he has given me 5 Samosa and again rechecked it was only 4 in the plate. I asked him about extra Rs 20/- he demanding. He said sir Kurkure you took costs Rs 20/- each, means Rs 40/- for kurkure only.
I checked the MRP it was Rs 10/- as shown in Pictures. I asked him that you are charging the double cost of MRP. He said “sir, nothing i can do about this”, we are doing our duty only. I also asked 3–4 staff that how can you charged more than MRP. They did not said anything and start doing their work. I was thinking where should i report this. So i decided to go inside with samosa first and put these pictures on Insta and tag local news agency.
While i was gaining entry, Staff again stopped me. I shown him my stamped hand but he said you cannot take samosa inside. But yes you can take any packet snacks.
Me - Dude, I have told you that i am going out to get snacks for my family.
He - Sir, you cannot take samosa inside.
Again went to snack vendor to return samosa but he said no. I was furious and my family was waiting inside. I watched here and there could not find anyone. I decided to eat samosa. Only i know how i had eaten 4 samosa. Finally i took 2 kurkure packets for my family.
